Banff is pricey, and unless you are staying in a hostel, the prices at this hotel are your best budget option. The location is great. The rooms are basic but adequate, especially considering what budget means in other areas of the world. Lots of jacks for charging electronics, cable, flat screen TV, coffee maker, good bed and shower, excellent hot water, self-adjusted room temperature, etc. Sure the room isn't huge, but if you are spending your time in Banff inside, you're doing it wrong! Front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, rooms were spotless. The hotel has a microwave on the third floor, which is extremely helpful for budget travelers! I would definitely stay here again.
Room Tip: If you are a very light sleeper, request a room on the top floors or facing the back of the hotel.

I stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed totally. Especially this is a little bit cheaper than other hotels. I was a little surprised at the reception. It was so small that I thought it was rather a kiosk. Getting earlier than check-in time, they kept my luggage. But there's no locker. If you don't care of breakfast service, this is for you. I think that's the reason it's cheaper for its location. I had some choices to have breakfast around here. I recommend you Starbucks. Banff Ave on weekend or holiday night can prevent you sleeping. I stayed there.
